Human Development and Family Sciences
Students enrolled in the UNC Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) program are eligible to apply for an internship at the UNC Rehabilitation Services department. The number of placements available will determine the number of applicants sent. See the HDFS program director, Dr. Helyne Frederick for more details.
Some examples of the areas we offer internship placements in are:
- Acute care
- Pediatrics
- Inpatient rehab
- Audiology
- Orthopedics and pelvic health
To apply for an internship you need to request Dr. Helyne Frederick to send us the following items:
- Name
- Email
- Resume
- Area of interest for internship placement.
All applications need to come through Dr. Helyne Fredrick, we do NOT accept individually sent applications.
