Why UNC

I am grateful to have the opportunity to continue my education at a progressive institution that is committed to training residents to become excellent leaders in their field with a passion to serve others and advance our profession. UNC has everything that I am looking for in a residency program including a wide variety of challenging clinical rotations, an emphasis on education and research, and ample opportunities to develop leadership skills. The wonderful culture, sense of camaraderie, and family-like environment really made UNC stand out to me. Everyone here is truly invested in my experience as a learner, as a resident, and as a person. There is significant thought and intention that goes into every residency activity making this program exceptional. I am looking forward to an amazing year in critical care and I am excited to be a Tar Heel!!
