Why UNC
UNC Health Care offers a progressive environment for pharmacist training that emphasizes not only the development of clinical skills but also skills in research, teaching, and leadership. Within infectious diseases there is an amazingly diverse set of disease states to learn from including cystic fibrosis, solid organ transplant, oncology, bone marrow transplant, HIV, and critical burns. The program also provides opportunities to teach within the infectious diseases curriculum at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Finally, pharmacists at UNC are passionate about caring for patients, advancing pharmacy practice, and mentoring the next generation of pharmacy leaders. I am honored to be a part of the UNC family!
