Impact of an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Comprehensive Patient-Centered Bundle on the Management of Candidemia

UNC offers an amazing breadth of infectious diseases experiences supported by a highly-trained and progressive pharmacy department. The strong relationship between providers, pharmacists, and staff is unparalleled. Equally as important in my decision to come to UNC were the values of teaching, leadership, and mentorship that are essential components of an excellent residency program. Most importantly, I have been surrounded with a welcoming and supporting pharmacy family that has allowed for a smooth transition into a new clinical infectious diseases pharmacist. UNC has provided me with the opportunities to grow and learn in both my clinical skills and professional development as a pharmacy leader for the rest of my career.
