Why UNC

As an applicant I was looking for a program that would provide a balance of guidance and autonomy to shape my development as a clinician. I was initially drawn to UNC because of the broad variety of experiences available and the flexibility to create a program that aligned with my interests; however I chose UNC because of the family-like feel and support system that was obvious throughout my interview. The program has exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful to be able to continue my PGY2 training at UNC.
