I chose to complete a PGY2 Oncology Residency at UNC due to the impressive research opportunities, dedication to academic pursuits, and clinical excellence of the pharmacy department. UNC Medical Center's environment promotes pharmacists to be engaged in guideline development, research, teaching, and committee work to practice at the top of their degree. This innovative environment presents the opportunity for challenge and growth that I believe will allow for me to achieve my personal and professional goals. Above all, I chose UNC due to the people and the amazing mentorship offered throughout the oncology pharmacy team.
