Why UNC

I chose UNC due to the diverse opportunities that the program offered not only from a clinical perspective, but from an analytics and safety viewpoint. With UNC's design of the 2-year med safety program, I knew I would receive the intense clinical upbringing I desired to further my understanding of complex disease states while simultaneously learning and seeing how the department views change and analyzing how it can be brought forward to utilize for my second year. This holistic approach and the strong support system built internally through my fellow co-residents and the administration team made me certain UNC was where I needed to be. The program truly offers an experience I felt few others could rival with the legacy of success and the never-ending resources to further promote resident growth.
