Evaluation of the impact of adherence on LDL-C reduction for PCSK9 inhibitors

I chose to complete a pharmacy residency at UNC because I am drawn to UNC’s strong commitment to promote the personal and professional growth of each residents into strong and compassionate clinical practitioners and leaders of the pharmacy profession. I knew that I wanted to grow in a supportive and progressive environment that cultivated and valued education, teaching, and clinical growth and strongly feel that UNC’s flexibility and breadth of rotation experiences and strong clinical preceptors would shape me into the confident and well-rounded clinical pharmacist that I envision for myself in the future. I was also drawn to the immersive experiences that UNC offers in teaching, research, academia, and preceptorship, especially through their supportive layered learning model and strong affiliations with UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. I am still deeply encouraged by the core values, beliefs, culture, and people of the institution and within the pharmacy department and strongly believe that their emphasis in resilience, mentorship, mental health, and personal growth is truly unmatched even to this day. Without a doubt, I am thrilled for this upcoming year and to be a part of the Pharmacy Tar Heel family!
