Why UNC

After completing the Pharmacy Internship Program and my APPE rotations at UNC Medical Center, I knew the community and culture would continue to foster my growth as a pharmacy resident. I was searching for a rigorous but supportive PGY1 program in a health system with abundant opportunities to apply core leadership skills. UNC had both, in addition to pharmacy leaders at the local and system level with a wealth of experience in every administrative area. Most importantly, my preceptors, coworkers, and mentors at UNC have been genuinely invested in my learning and success, which made me feel even more confident in choosing UNC for residency.
