I chose UNC because it felt like home. From the network of supportive preceptors to the large but tight-knit residency class, I knew it was the perfect environment to grow as a new pharmacist. Having the privilege of attending pharmacy school at UNC, I looked forward to being mentored and taught by the pharmacists who inspired me as a student. I appreciated the clear focus on personal growth coupled with professional development. It was clear the program’s leadership cared for each resident holistically and promoted growth by challenging residents within a nurturing environment.
