Why UNC

UNC Health has many values to help promote a just culture that revolves around the patient, the provider, and overall safety and wellbeing. This was evident to me from my first interactions with the team members at UNC. I learned so much about the involvement of pharmacy and our integrated role with medication and patient safety from a site-specific and system-level approach. This stood out to me knowing that I would have opportunities during my pharmacy training to gain experience and the ability to face any challenges ahead of me. I left the Midwest, where I was born and raised, knowing that I would be in good hands at such a great institution.
