Why UNC
After having spent four years at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, I experienced firsthand how unique and supportive this community really is. The connection between the school and the hospital creates such an amazing environment to grow as a clinician. One of the biggest draws for me was the incredible variety of rotations. The opportunity to have a diverse set of rotations in some of my interest areas while learning directly from preceptors who are incredible teachers and leaders in their fields is so exciting. I'm also looking forward to working with the Chapel Hill community through volunteering at SHAC (the Student Health Action Coalition). Also I think it's imortant to mention that the culture here is amazing. All of my co-residents are exceptionally talented, supportive, and I love working alongside them every day.
