Why UNC
As a pharmacy student, I had the privilege of collaborating with UNC Medical Center pharmacy residents and always viewed them as professional role models. During recruitment, the program drew me in with the wide range of clinical rotations, the ability to engage in various teaching opportunities, and the chance to participate in innovative research. After my interview, I felt an immediate sense of belonging and knew that UNC would be the perfect place to continue my training and grow both as a pharmacist and an individual. Since coming to UNC Medical Center, I am reminded each day how truly amazing it is to be a part of such a supportive family. The inclusive and welcoming environment at UNC made the decision to early commit to a PGY2 in Pediatrics. I am so excited for another year ahead with my amazing co-residents and pharmacy preceptors!
