From my earliest interactions with the HSPAL program, I sensed a genuine passion for leadership and advancing the pharmacy profession at UNC. This commitment is reflected in the program’s strong foundation in clinical training, exceptional mentorship, and diverse administrative experiences. I was particularly impressed by how the program embraced and supported my niche interests in outpatient leadership, women’s health, and global consulting, reinforcing that UNC could help me grow into the leader I aspire to be. Equally important, I felt an immediate connection with the supportive and collaborative culture fostered by the residents, preceptors, and program leadership. UNC’s emphasis on well-being, professional growth, and servant leadership confirmed that this is the ideal environment for my personal and professional development.
