Impact of Inpatient Automatic Therapeutic Substitutions on Post-Discharge Drug Therapy

The sincerity and motivation demonstrated by the UNC Health Care pharmacy community was one of the many driving factors for accepting the opportunity to be a part of this innovative and forward-thinking program. The health-system medication use management program provides exceptional opportunities to seamlessly integrate formulary management, drug information, and medication safety. Also, the ability to customize each resident’s experience is noteworthy and allows me to further develop my current areas of interests, which are formulary management and academia. Overall, UNC Health Care’s continuous evolution and dedication to be a frontrunner in pharmacy practice is why I was immediately excited to join the community.
