Why UNC

I chose UNC for its commitment to resident growth. The inclusive and supportive culture is something special UNC has to offer and being able to build connections with my co-residents, preceptors, and other healthcare professions has been the highlight of my experience thus far! The opportunity to be a part of the returning PGY2 psychiatry program was also exciting because I wanted to help shape the program for future residents. The psychiatry program itself offers a wide range of unique inpatient experiences which I knew would prepare me for my future career.
