Why UNC
I chose UNC because I wanted a well-rounded program that would offer every opportunity I was interested in exploring, ensuring I would emerge as a confident and capable pharmacist. UNC aligned perfectly with my professional and personal goals, allowing me to engage in both inpatient and outpatient care, and facilitating teaching and serving opportunities. As a student at UNC, I saw first-hand how the preceptors were exceptional clinicians and passionate educators deeply committed to patient care and resident growth. I knew UNC would provide an environment where I would feel supported and challenged as I transitioned from student to pharmacist. At UNC, pharmacists practice at the top of their license and are valued members of the healthcare team. It is an honor to learn in such an empowering environment.
