Why UNC

As the standard of pharmacy excellence, UNC connects strong administrative opportunities with rigorous clinical training empowering their resident’s to develop and implement pharmacy leadership strategies that directly impact patient care. Undoubtedly, the opportunity to be in a captivating learning environment through the MS component, which provides collaboration with other leaders within the profession was a key selling point for me. UNC has pride in improving lives every day and training the next generation of health care leaders, aligning well with my clinical and administrative interests. At every stage I witnessed these values as UNC prioritizes resident well-being, teamwork, and innovation. My ultimate deciding factor was the passion from past and current residents that emphasized how UNC cultivates a culture of innovation which affords residents to harness organizational resources to turn their ideas into tangible solutions. Therefore, as I strive to become a dynamic leader in pharmacy I know UNC is the best fit for me, as we share the value of pharmacist being compassionate and well-rounded healthcare professionals.
