Why UNC

When looking for a Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) residency program, I wanted a program that would provide me with a strong clinical foundation during my PGY1 year that I could combine with my administrative PGY2 year to pursue a career in clinical management. UNC stood out to me because I am able to challenge myself and grow at a prestigious medical center while still being surrounded by supportive preceptors, staff, and co-residents. I truly get to be involved in all of my clinical interests, as well as academia, leadership, and mentorship. I wake up excited every day to come in and learn, largely because of the people around me and the strong sense of family within the program!
