The University of North Carolina's long-standing tradition of training exceptional pharmacy clinicians and leaders was what initially attracted me. It was very important for me to be a part of a forward-thinking program that would provide me with the tools to build a strong clinical foundation while advancing my leadership skills. It was UNC's strong emphasis on mentorship and collaborative practice, however, that really let me know that this was the perfect program for me. The sense of family and support within the department is undeniable and provides the ideal environment for my growth and development as a future pharmacy leader.
