I chose to come to the UNC for a variety of reasons.  It was important to me to be at a program with a wide variety of clinical rotations to choose from as well as a large preceptor pool so that I would have the opportunity to learn from many different people.  It was also evident from my very first interaction with the people at UNC that this was an institution that highly valued a strong pharmacy presence and a pharmacy department that highly values mentorship, leadership, and clinical development.  It is clear that everyone involved in the pharmacy residency program wants you to succeed and they are willing the help you every step of the way.
