Why UNC

I chose UNC because of the breadth of opportunities in the field of cardiology. UNC has both a distinguished cardiology department as an institution and a collaborative pharmacy team. Here, I have the invaluable opportunity to receive comprehensive training in caring for patients of all acuity levels. Being able to design research, work in the classroom at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, and connect with interdisciplinary colleagues will support my growth as a professional. Above all, I will be a patient advocate in all settings, which is my greatest passion as a pharmacist.
