Use of concept mapping activity to enhance pharmacy student self-assessment skills and comprehension of fundamental disease state knowledge

During my residency search, I sought a program with a variety of rotations, accomplished preceptors, and opportunities for research that would develop me into a highly skilled clinician. The University of North Carolina certainly met these criteria, but what confirmed my desire to pursue training here were the additional offerings that UNC boasts. By emphasizing teaching, precepting, mentorship, and leadership, UNC creates not only top-notch practitioners, but also outstanding professionals. Each aspect of the pharmacy residency program has a great deal of thought and intention behind it, helping residents become the best pharmacists and individuals they can be. It is evident that everyone is invested in each resident's success; challenging us to grow while encouraging us along the way. I could not be prouder to be a part of the Pharmacy Tar Heel Family!
