Why UNC

From my very first time onsite at UNC, I could feel the overwhelming sense of community and family. What drew me most to continue pursuing my PGY2 residency training at UNC was its rich history of excellence training pharmacy residents to become highly skilled, clinical leaders in the field. I knew UNC would be a program that would challenge me both personally and professionally during my time as a resident, but would also equip me with the resources and mentorship needed along the way to truly succeed. This year, I am most looking forward to training with our excellent, dedicated preceptors, experiencing the impressive variety of cardiology learning opportunities, and being directly involved in the teaching and precepting of pharmacy students. I am humbled by the opportunity to further my training here at UNC, and am thrilled to be a part of the Pharmacy Tar Heel family!
