PGY1: Ensuring access for the uninsured: impact of a pre-discharge bedside medication delivery service on hospital readmission

UNC offers so much more beyond learning to be a clinical pharmacist.  The program provides opportunities to develop into a leader, teacher, researcher, and team player.  Preceptors continue to impress me daily with not only their dedication to patient care but also the time and effort they put into providing educational experiences to residents on a daily basis.  Most of all, it is the family feeling the program strives to create that drew me to UNC.  It is quite evident how invested the pharmacy department is in developing its residents into exceptional clinical practitioners.  The program provides a great balance between challenging residents and supporting them with the necessary tools to be successful.
