Why UNC
From the very beginning it was clear that the pharmacy residency program at UNC Medical Center was one-of-a-kind. I was initially drawn to UNC for its rich pharmacy history and progressive practice model, but it was the people and core values of the program that ultimately motivated me to stay and complete my PGY-2 oncology residency training here. I knew the diverse rotations and long-standing interprofessional relationships offered, along with the strong emphasis on teaching and research would prepare me to become a well-rounded, highly skilled oncology clinical practitioner. The dedication UNC places on professional, academic, and personal growth amongst residents is truly unmatched. The support and resources offered to help me achieve my short- and long-term goals has far exceeded my expectations. I am elated to continue my journey here at UNC and remain a part of the Pharmacy Tar Heel family!
