Why UNC
"I chose UNC because I wanted a well-rounded program that offers opportunities in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The diverse rotation experiences, strong partnership with the school of pharmacy, and numerous opportunities to give back to the community aligned perfectly with what I was seeking in a residency. I was drawn to a program that would challenge me beyond my comfort zone and shape me into a strong clinician and leader. In speaking with former residents, it became clear how well-supported trainees are by preceptors and mentors, and how strong the sense of community is at UNC. As someone moving out of state, support was one of my biggest concerns, but UNC has far exceeded my expectations, making the transition much smoother than I anticipated. Ultimately, I wanted a program that would foster my growth professionally, personally, and clinically—and UNC has surpassed my expectations in every aspect!"
