Why UNC
I chose to complete my PGY2 cardiology pharmacy residency at UNC because of the collaborative, engaging, challenging, and supportive environment. Professionally, UNC offers a wide variety of cardiology rotations led by leaders in the field. I was also drawn to UNC Hospital's close relationship with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and the opportunity to work with current pharmacy students both in the classroom and on rotations. Personally, I was looking for a program that provided a supportive environment for residents to learn and grow. The culture fostered by the residency program has exceeded my expectations. I am reminded daily how much the preceptors and program directors value me both professionally and personally. The Pharmacy Tarheel family is very special and I feel lucky to be a part of it.
