Why UNC

I chose to pursue a pharmacy residency at UNC for many reasons, most notably the support offered by preceptors and mentors, the emphasis on safety and quality in healthcare, the robust amount of clinically challenging rotations to choose from and the pharmacy-positive environment of the interdisciplinary teams. I wanted to be challenged during my residency year and explore a variety of clinical areas – a residency at UNC offered that in a supportive and non-competitive environment where my learning would be prioritized. During my (brief) time here I have already learned so much and made great professional and personal relationships, I truly feel at home at UNC.
