Why UNC

I chose to pursue a PGY2 Oncology Residency at UNC because of its dedication to patient care and the opportunities in interprofessional education and innovative research. Furthermore, UNC offers a variety of hematology-oncology experiences and its emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration with pharmacy as a vital part of the team fosters a great learning environment for pharmacists in training. The day of my interview, I was drawn by the enthusiasm expressed by preceptors, their genuine support for resident learning, and the strong sense of community within the UNC team. I am grateful to be surrounded by top clinicians and I am excited to be part of the UNC family!
