Why UNC

I chose UNC for a number of reasons. Initially, I was drawn to the wide variety of clinical rotations offered here, the ability to learn from pharmacists who are practicing at the top of their fields, and the extensive opportunities to develop my teaching and leadership skills through UNC's close relationship with the Eshelman School of Pharmacy. However, while all of those aspects make this program great, what truly solidified UNC as the program for me was the people. From the moment I started my journey with UNC, every person I have come in contact with has gone out of their way to help me to learn and grow as not only a pharmacist but as a person. Though we are a big department, everyone here is truly invested in each of the residents and ready to support us with whatever we need. The UNC pharmacy family is a very close-knit group and I am so excited to officially be a part of it!
