Why UNC

One of the major reasons I chose UNC was the gracious and warm welcome I felt from my first interactions with the Pharmacy Tar Heels! I knew the experiences and preceptors at UNC Medical Center would provide a robust and challenging training experience within a variety of infectious disease practice areas that would foster personal and professional growth. It was evident that everyone involved in the program has a passion for teaching and developing the next generation of clinical pharmacy leaders. This was something that was extremely important to me and my future goals. Lastly, I was impressed by the strong research program and model which allows for progression of the practice of pharmacy and keeps UNC practicing on the cutting edge. I am extremely humbled and excited to contribute and join the ranks of the Pharmacy Tar Heel family!
