Why UNC
When I was researching residency programs, I wanted a place that would challenge me clinically while helping me grow as a leader, educator, and well-rounded pharmacist. UNC immediately stood out because of its diverse learning opportunities, but what really made me choose the program were the people. From my interview onward, it was obvious that the residents genuinely loved being here and that the preceptors and program leadership were invested in each resident's success, not just as a pharmacist, but as a person. Since starting residency, I've experienced that same supportive and collaborative culture while being encouraged to practice at the top of my license and continue growing every day. I know the experiences and relationships I've built at UNC will prepare me to become a confident clinician, a strong leader, and an advocate for my patients.
