The Impact of Semaglutide (Wegovy) Discontinuation on Cardiovascular Outcomes

Why UNC

UNC is uniquely positioned to provide a robust residency experience with the advanced practice of pharmacy within the state of North Carolina and the various disease states and specialties pharmacists are involved in managing. In particular for ambulatory care, pharmacists are embedded in several clinics including family medicine, cardiology, cardiorenal, neurology, hepatology, GI, and others. I felt UNC would give me the greatest diversity of exposure to a wide array of disease states to allow me to identify area of interest I would like to practice in within the ambulatory care space as well as greatly enhance my overall clinical knowledge. Additionally, UNC truly felt like a home away from home on my interview day and has a strong supportive culture.
