Why UNC

I knew I wanted to experience a change in scenery to learn from all sorts of perspectives which led to my decision of traveling out of state to pursue residency. In Oregon, many of the pharmacist I learned from and worked with had ties with UNC and had nothing but amazing things to say about the residency program as well as UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. The clinical expertise into acute care, connections with UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy for a strong focus in academia, as well as the unwavering support and community from a large cohort were all the more reasons to leave one coast for the other to practice clinical pharmacy.
