Why UNC

I chose to pursue my psychiatric pharmacy residency at UNC because of the people. Being part of a large residency class provides a strong sense of community, and I knew I would have built-in friends to share the journey with. I am fortunate to learn from preceptors across diverse areas of psychiatric pharmacy who are not only experts in their fields but also deeply invested in my development. Most importantly, I value being part of an interdisciplinary team where pharmacy is respected and my ideas and contributions are truly heard. I felt UNC offered the perfect balance of supportive peers, dedicated mentors, and a collaborative environment that would challenge me to grow into the best pharmacist I can be.
