I chose to do my second year of residency training at UNC because I was looking for an academic medical center with a strong pharmacy presence. Pharmacists at UNC are passionate about patient-care and extremely well-integrated into the team. There is a strong sense of community among everyone involved in the residency program, and everyone in the department is invested in your success. UNC also provides residents with an abundance of unique opportunities for personal and professional growth.
