Why UNC

When looking for a residency program, I wanted an experience that would provide me with a diverse range of rotation options, educational and research opportunities, and a supportive culture. I found that UNC Medical Center offered this and much more. After completing my PGY1 year at UNC, I knew I wanted to remain apart of this health system and its commitment to advancing pharmacy practice. The UNC pharmacy residency program values personal and professional growth with an emphasis on overall wellbeing. Pursuing a PGY2 in solid organ transplantation, I have found myself surrounded by dedicated leaders, preceptors, and mentors who challenge me to be the best version of myself. Lastly, having such a large residency class offers unique perspectives, collaboration, and friendships that I am truly grateful for. I am excited to spend another year at UNC and continuing my professional journey as a pharmacist!
