Why UNC

When I was searching for a program, I was specifically looking for pedigree, a large networking system, and a program that would allow me to have an independent management area. The University of North Carolina met all of these and has continually proven to develop outstanding leaders by actively involving them in meaningful projects. The depth and breadth of experiences offer a well-rounded training that would enable me to pursue any type of leadership position that fits my interest. The opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in pharmacy leadership and see how forward-thinking they are was hard to pass up.

Additionally, the master’s program would allow for collaboration with other health-system pharmacy administration residents from several areas across the state, as well as, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Florida. This gives me the opportunity to learn several health-system perspectives while expanding my network to residents across the country. It’s a privilege to be a part of the UNC family!
