I chose to complete both of my residency years at UNC Medical Center because I found it to be an excellent fit for my professional goals while also supporting a healthy mixture of professional and personal growth. Professionally, I chose UNC because I felt that it would help me become the most knowledgeable clinician I could be while also developing my skills as a researcher, educator, and leader through a variety of opportunities. I also felt that UNC was the perfect place to grow personally as more than just a clinician, as they stress the importance of setting goals both inside and outside of the residency program and work with you to achieve them. Additionally, what stood out to me about UNC was the people. Everyone is kind, supportive and will push you to be your best and my 40 co-residents are absolutely the best support system I could ever ask for!
