Why UNC

Having a passion for direct patient care and a desire to become a well-rounded, confident practitioner, I knew that the ambulatory care residency program at UNC could provide the challenging and unique learning experience in both outpatient and acute care that I was looking for.  After confirming my passion for practicing in the ambulatory care setting, it was an easy choice to continue my training at UNC for my PGY2 year. In addition to the curriculum, the mentorship and support for residents is truly unmatched, and it has been very evident that this program wants their residents to succeed in whichever career path they choose.
