Pharmacist Impact on Lung Transplant Transitions of Care and Ambulatory Outcomes

Why UNC

With interests in ambulatory care, I knew it would be imperative to also get in-patient rotation and staffing experience during residency. UNC’s PGY1 Ambulatory Care Track program provides a unique blend of acute and ambulatory care components to ensure I am adequately equipped to serve patients in the outpatient setting and prevent hospital readmissions.  Another component I admire about UNC is their growth mindset and innovative perspective. The health system and residency program continually seek to improve through quality improvement and research initiatives with patient care at its cornerstone. I am grateful to be a part of the UNC Pharmacy team!
