Why UNC

I fell in love with the pharmacy residency program at UNC since it is so well-designed and really centered towards resident success and well-being. The people at UNC are fantastic and I loved meeting the directors, preceptors, and residents during the recruitment sessions and interview process and felt the caring, friendly, and family-oriented atmosphere here. UNC is a well-organized health system with a wealth of resources to use when caring for patients. I knew that I would have endless opportunities to learn and grow as a pharmacy practitioner and pursue my passions within ambulatory care and academia. I appreciated that I would be a part of a large resident class and form friendships with a variety of pharmacists. I could not have imagined a better place to receive my residency training and am grateful to experience and contribute to the pharmacy department at UNC!
