Why UNC
Selecting UNC for my PGY2 was easily the best decision I could have made. I initially was drawn to UNC's PGY-2 Pediatric Residency Program because of the robust pediatric rotations, teaching opportunities, and how integral pharmacy is to the healthcare team. Beyond this, UNC offers a wealth of opportunities and I was confident that I will be working alongside highly qualified pharmacists that will challenge me to grow as a whole person and practitioner. Ultimately, the dedication demonstrated by the directors and preceptors to the overall well-being of their residents attracted me most to this program. I chose UNC for the familial atmosphere created by the preceptors and residents and was excited about being surrounded by others driven by their contagious passion. I am very excited to be on this journey with such a big residency family, including my pediatric co-resident!
