Why UNC

As someone moving out of state for residency, finding a program with a strong sense of community was very important to me. When speaking with current residents at ASHP Midyear and during interviews, I was struck by how highly they spoke of the support they received while navigating the challenges of residency. UNC also stood out for its large variety of inpatient and outpatient rotations and the opportunities to be actively involved with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. I was drawn to a learning environment that would push me to grow and be my best. Since starting, the support, collaboration, and friendships I’ve found here have made UNC feel like home while helping me develop into a more confident and well-rounded pharmacist!
