Clinical Administration

Rotation Description:

This is a rotation is designed to provide the resident with an in-depth experience of the institutional and departmental structure, the committee/decision-making structure for both Acute Care and Ambulatory Pharmacy Services, and clinical/operational pharmacy services provided within UNC Hospitals. The rotation focuses on pharmacy leadership, performance improvement, human resources, strategic planning, and policy development. The resident will become an integral part of the Clinical Services Team and the quality and safety initiatives undertaken by the department. Furthermore, the rotation will provide the resident with an opportunity to further develop writing, speaking, organizational, time management, teamwork, and leadership skills by achieving objectives and goals that are tailored the interests and continuing progression of the resident.
