Rotation Description
This experience exposes the resident to high-acuity obstetric patients with a diverse group of disease states in pregnancy. The rotation requires the development of skills in multiple practice settings from ambulatory management to critical care. Since pregnancy impacts all disease states and all disease states impact pregnancy, the resident will complete the experience with a better skillset and confidence as it pertains to taking care of pregnant people.
