Rotation Title

Ambulatory Thoracic Oncology (Lung and Sarcoma)

Rotation Description:

The thoracic oncology ambulatory care/academia rotation will expose the resident to patient populations with lung cancer and sarcoma. The resident will gain exposure the management of cancer-related pain, nausea/vomiting, and other supportive care situations. The resident will gain exposure to the management of cytotoxic chemotherapy, molecularly targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. The resident will also participate in faculty meetings and teaching activities of the preceptor based on current responsibilities at the time.
