Rotation Description
The Technology, Automation, and Analytics rotation allows residents to explore three different teams that integrate technology into health-system pharmacy practice. The rotation splits time between the Pharmacy Automation and Technology team, the System Pharmacy Technology team, and the System Pharmacy Analytics team. On the analytics portion of the rotation, residents learn how analytical products are made from the point of raw data all the way to a finished product including query building, validation, and data visualization. Residents also learn how to interpret data and make data informed decisions to influence their practice.
