GME specialists are responsible for maintaining residents’ and subspecialty residents’ training records and handling matters relating to their appointments including payroll and benefits, licensure, notary services, and foreign medical graduates.
Marissa Barbadoro, Lead GME Specialist
Ms. Barbadoro is the primary contact for the following programs: Dermatology and subspecialties, Internal Medicine subspecialties, Ophthalmology, and Pediatric Nephrology. She also handles residency verifications and loan deferments. (Josie Santos, below, handles PSLFs.)
Jessica Cote, GME Specialist
Ms. Cote is the primary contact for the following programs: Allergy & Immunology, Emergency Medicine and subspecialties, General Practice Residency, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Medical Genetics and Genomics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatrics and subspecialties, and Pediatric Dentistry.
Kali Guest, GME Specialist
Ms. Guest is the primary contact for the following programs: Anesthesiology and subspecialties, Pediatrics/Anesthesiology (combined), Family Medicine, Neurology and subspecialties, Ob/Gyn and subspecialties, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Preventive Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Sports Medicine (Primary).
Lauren Liszak, GME Specialist
Ms. Liszak is the primary contact for the following programs: Diagnostic Radiology and subspecialties, Interventional Radiology-Integrated, Orthopaedic Surgery and subspecialties, Otolaryngology and subspecialties, Surgery and subspecialties, Plastic Surgery-Integrated, Urology, Vascular Surgery-Integrated.
Stacey Qandil, GME Specialist
Ms. Qandil is the primary contact for the following programs: Internal Medicine, Psychiatry and subspecialties
Operations and Accreditation Staff
Siobhan Gallagher, Information Systems Specialist
Ms. Gallagher manages the data and information systems for the department to support its credentialing, training, and accreditation functions. She is also the primary contact for the following programs: McLendon Labs, Molecular Genetic Pathology, Pathology and subspecialties.
Business & Operations Manager
Ms. Mays monitors and reconciles financial accounts related to insurance premiums, operating budgets, billing and all other financial aspects of graduate medical education.
Business & Accreditation Manager
Ms. Hill provides support and assistance to the Executive Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, the Director of the Office of Graduate Medical Education, the Graduate Medical Education Committee, and the Housestaff Council. She is the primary contact person for questions regarding accreditation, affiliation agreements, ERAS, the NRMP, and the ECFMG.
Ms. Santos maintains documentation regarding resident work hours and reimbursement. She is the primary contact for questions regarding MedHub evaluations and scheduling and supports the Moonlighting Subcommittee of the Graduate Medical Education Committee. Ms. Santos is the primary contact for the following training programs: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Medical Physics, Pharmacy, Pastoral Care, Physical Therapy/Neurologic, Physical Therapy/Orthopedics, Physical Therapy/Pediatrics. She also handles Public Service Loan Forgiveness requests.
